Post Google Alerts to your Team Channel

Setting up a google Alert to be posted directly in to your Team Channel

Google alerts are fantastic for monitoring the web for new content that may be useful to your team. But rather than keep logging on to your Google account to track these alerts they can be automatically posted in to your team Channel

Every Team Channel has it’s own email address. You will need to locate this email address to use as a forarding address for your google alerts emails.

Click on the Ellipses of the Channel where you want the Google Alert posted and select get email address

You will see the unique, un-editable email address for that channel

Use this email address as a forwarding address in Gmail for your Google alerts.

The Google Alerts email will be posted to the Channel
